Service Description

Lwann provides a digital memorial page creation and hosting service. Each page includes a biography, birth and death dates, a photo gallery, tribute messages, memory submissions, a candle feature, and rose placements. All pages are created manually by the Lwann team within 48 hours of confirmed payment. This is a concierge service, not a self-serve platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a service. By submitting a memorial page request, you confirm that you are an authorised representative of the deceased's family or have obtained the family's permission to create the page.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted via the Google Form. Lwann will publish the information as provided. Factual errors resulting from incorrect submissions may be corrected via a paid Page Edit ($5 per edit). You agree not to submit false, defamatory, or inappropriate content. Lwann reserves the right to refuse or remove any submission at its sole discretion.

Content Moderation

All tribute quotes and memories are manually reviewed by the Lwann team before publication. Lwann reserves the right to reject any submission that contains offensive, spam, or inappropriate content without refund of the submission fee.

No-Refund Policy

All payments made to Lwann are non-refundable. Given the sensitive and time-critical nature of memorial services, work begins immediately upon payment confirmation. By completing payment, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

Refunds will not be issued for tribute quotes or memories rejected during content moderation. Refunds will not be issued for candle lifespan extensions, rose purchases, or additional photo fees once the service has been rendered. In the event Lwann is unable to deliver the service due to an error on Lwann's part, a credit or equivalent service will be offered at Lwann's discretion.

Correction Window

As a goodwill measure, Lwann offers a 24-hour correction window from the time the page goes live. During this period, minor factual corrections — including name spelling, date corrections, and photo replacements — will be made at no additional charge. Corrections must be submitted via Facebook Messenger or Telegram to the Lwann support contact. After 24 hours, corrections are treated as Page Edits and charged at $5.00 per request.

End-User Rules

Permitted Use

Memorial pages are created for the purpose of honouring deceased individuals. The page link may be shared on Facebook, Viber, Telegram, Instagram, and similar platforms. Sharing for personal, community, or diaspora mourning purposes is encouraged.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Lwann to create pages for fictional individuals, to publish defamatory or misleading content, to harass or harm living individuals, or to reproduce Lwann's platform design or content for commercial purposes. Lwann reserves the right to take down any page that violates this policy without refund.

Platform Conduct

All interactions with Lwann support — via Facebook Messenger or Telegram — must be conducted respectfully. Lwann reserves the right to discontinue support for users who engage in abusive or threatening behaviour.

Intellectual Property

The Lwann brand, website design, and platform logic are the intellectual property of Lwann's founder. User-submitted content — biographies, photographs, tribute quotes — remains the property of the submitting party. By submitting content, you grant Lwann a non-exclusive licence to publish that content on lwann.com for the purpose of maintaining the memorial page.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, where Lwann's primary operator is based.

Dispute Resolution

Lwann is a small, founder-operated platform. In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us directly via Facebook Messenger or Telegram in the first instance. The vast majority of issues can be resolved quickly and amicably. If a formal dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Limitation of Liability

Lwann's liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in dispute. Lwann is not liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional damages arising from service use, technical failure, or content loss beyond Lwann's direct control.
